Ben Mangus was born and raised in Northwest PA. After graduating high school, he earned a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree with a specialty in Construction Management from Penn State University. While residing in the Washington, D.C. area, he was employed as a Construction Supervisor for Ryan Homes, one of the nation’s largest home builders. He has also held many other positions in the construction field.

Ben became a home inspector because he “wants to help people through the stressful time period of buying a house.” He also believes it’s vital to let buyers know what they’re getting into, which includes understanding the positive and negative qualities of their future home. When he’s not inspecting a property or writing a comprehensive home inspection report, Ben enjoys being in the great outdoors and spending time with his four daughters.
